Does anybody know anything about this button. I have 6 in total I'm guessing it's military both due to its style and the fact it was found amongst other uniform buttons but other than that I'm a bit stuck. I can't find it on the internet. I'm guessing the wavy line is the surface of the sea and goes at the top but it is only a guess and then there is a trident flanked by fish or sea creatures of sorts and an oval in the center with a stripe or sash cutting across in a diagonal line.
I'd love to know more about it so any information would be greatfully recieved
    TIA
    Kathryn

I think the "fish" might be pineapple, a sign of peace. Most military buttons I've seen had the maker's name on the back.

The closest thing I could find is the U.S. Navel Academy Insignia, here's a link:

but maybe your Button is from a Costume? Good Luck! :^)
