    Found this guy in a local NZ op shop. This is one of my favourite finds. Dated 1916 and signed Cap. C.V. Stiimer. I know nothing about the artist, could have been a guy who just liked to paint. Retired military or boat captain?

      I really like the eyes in this ,.. the dullness of his eyes fit the age of him unlike someone younger with the spark in them and bright white's ...well done .
