Hello everyone! I was given this beauty from a friend, but she’s in rough shape. At one point it was leather covered, but that’s all peeling off. Is it too far gone to restore? I’d hate to give up on it if there’s a chance!

The beauty of these old trunks is that wood always comes back — unless it has been left outside for too long and is over weathered. I would certainly refinish this project. Have fun with it!
