    This was a tintype of Emma (Spawn) LA Point, perhaps CA 1880.
    Her husband lost a leg at Cold Harbor in 1864, but
    he got a prosthetic leg after the war, and got back his life.
    She must have taken good care of him, because he lived, and worked until
    the day before his death in 1913. They had one child, a daughter, who cared for
    her Dad's collection of Civil War related items, mostly his Union veteran's related
    items.
