My grandmothers bud vase, her brother travelled the world as a successful race horse owner. Maybe made of brass .... not sure ? Any help appreciated thank you

its made in "INDIA" that what it says on the bottom , so its not old at all. its very nice still :)
Well my grandmother died at 102 years old ....... 20 years ago. Her brother was involved in a huge race horse scandal in Australia so in the 1920’s he moved to India and was hugely successful, 100 years ago. It’s old
