The second picture shows a 'dakini'. i wish the photos were better. impossible to say much w/ these pics.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures. I didn't take it out of the frame so I know there is glare and yes it is dark. Thank you so much for the info
It looks like a tourist thangka (Buddhist painting), probably made in Nepal. Many iconographical conventions used by traditional thangka painters are not found here, so I think this is intended more for decoration than as a shrine object. The design suggests a traditional mandala palace, the traditional dwelling of a Buddha, which is depicted from above, rather like a floor plan.
