Bought two of these at a Marine Salvage emporium where I work occasionally. Heavy, solid, and had been( I'm told) in a waterfront restaurant. No idea if old, antique or simply built for the trade ... any info would be welcome..
Regardless of age or value, they will be hanging in my kitchen!
My feeling is, that these were made to imitate nautical hardware.
