Two Oldsmobile hood ornaments from a 1953-1954 with different casting numbers. Ornament with a 88 in the center of the rocket is from a 49 olds the 88 that's behind the jet is from a 1956 Olds. Thanks in advance for any reply!

A friend of mine had an early 70's Cutlass with the Rocket engine in it, or at least what passed for that in the early 70's. Even though terribly 'worn out' at the time (and having had most of its exhaust system cut off very prematurely) that thing would RUN...??!! (and I had a set of keys for it, with permission to use it whenever I wanted...that was very handy during my high school years... <lol>)
