    These also generally for 'more than household' variety of powerlines, but not so ridiculously high voltage/current as the 'strings' of similar-ish insulators just shown. In 3 different diameters here (plus the extra gray oddball one) they were (are) used individually on overhead powerlines, these would be mounted stationary on short threaded posts. (again, except for the gray one) There are 3 'small' ones, three 'medium', and two 'large' here -- each made of a glazed ceramic material in a generic brown color, the 3 midsized ones have some fun (and also totally random as well as irrelevant to function) drip and sag patterns showing. Probably by various makers, some are marked, they're not terribly old or even uncommon.

      Just looking at the ones with the 3 tiers and a hole in the middle, I’m thinking of a practical re-use of them…..hmmmm. With an inexpensive solar fountain from EBay, some creative person could make a cute little cascading water feature for the patio….sitting among the potted plants, just lovely!
