    Found in the storage room of a museum in B.C. interior.
    Many Chinese artifacts found so it may have a Chinese origin may not .
    It’s about 2.5” tall and has a threaded hole on the base.
    Would love to find out what it is to find the rest of it.

      Maybe part of a Lantern? What is the material?

      I’m sure it’s a wire mesh oil lamp mantle.
      The body is aluminum the mesh looks like steel.
      Now just trying to nail down vintage and brand if that’s what it is.
