Vintage brass and nickel chess set by brevettato (Romans vs Hannibal) I’m searching for the missing pieces to my grandads set.
During a robbery a few years ago, they broke the marble board and took some of the pieces and I have been trying to replace what was stolen ever since, more sentimental value than anything else I would never sell what I have left.

      Brevettato means 'Patented' in English.

Hello Joshua, I want to start off by saying, I know how you feel. I have the exact same set and am looking for the nickel Roman queen. My dad gave me his set 20 years ago to try and replace the queen.

Also I am aware that this post is over a year old , but I'm trying to see if anyone might be interested in an Idea to source these pieces.

As a hobby I do casting , and have been thinking about casting some of the pieces I'm missing. Do you think we could do a borrow and trade? I borrow your queen and after casting I send you a cast of my king and YOUR original queen back?

If this is an option you would be interested in exploring, check out my collection (to verify that you believe it to be the same set) and let me know ahead of time, and I will cast the king and send pictures of it for you to check if the quality is good enough for you.
