Rescued this very unique and large painting. It is very big as you can see by the yard stick in the photo. Don't know is this is a Chinese Emperor or etc. Anyone have a clue about this please?

All I can offer is vague information about the age, which of course I could be completely wrong. The staples tell me it’s mid-twentieth century or more recently, I believe. Or, the staples could be related to someone trying to rescue/repair the piece, so maybe it’s older. Vague, right? The paper looks older, darker, stained, so it’s either pretty old or it’s had a hard life. Either way I think it’s a nice find. I don’t see any marks so please comment if there are any. Hopefully someone on CW who has knowledge in this area can chime in. One thing that may help anyone on here that’d try to research this would be if you’d include a full picture of the back.
