I recently inherited my Uncle's gumball machine collection. I've been doing research and trying to figure out everything about it.

I believe this is a Northwestern "Jet" gumball machine. Based on an internet search, I was able to determine that it was likely produced in 1954, although not 100% confirmed. This one accepts 10 cents (dimes). When I opened it up, I found two more Northwestern Jet labels, one for 1 cent and 1 for 5 cent. I'm trying to find a replacement for the 10 cent but I almost feel the sticker on this one was modified to show 10 as I don't see any like it. It appears to have some red areas (possible rust?) but otherwise is in pretty good shape. I have the keys. I need to clean this up but I want to be real careful on the finish. It's very shiny.
Just trying to expand my knowledge on these.

In the upper right picture, there's a serial or part number. Does that help you date it at all?

Hmm, unless I'm just blind I don't see a part number on this.

Below and left of the coin mechanism..09765? Or 55..

Okay, I had put everything back together so it took me a minute to realize what you were asking. With the coin door removed, in that lower corner, there is a number 09765. Thanks, I didn't immediately notice that.

I found a link here https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/northwestern-jet-gumball-machine-503688730 that seems to indicate the machine is likely from 1954.
