As pic 4 shows, this one is 10-1/4 across and made of rather thick sturdy glass. Seems an easy guess that it once covered a cake (or pie or something yummy) on a platter or stand maybe in a restaurant or someplace, but I don't know that for sure. No markings anywhere on it.
