Bowl is 12" across and 2" deep. It was to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary, (Jim and Betty, 1936-1961) . It is edged sequentially with 25 British Shillings (with both English and Scottish crests) dating from 1937-1961. The 1937 and 1940 coins are missing. Shillings up to and including 1946 are 50% Silver.
J. Beedie & Son wood turners were in operation from 1856 to at least the late 1960's.
