These were first started in the later 40's to the early 50's, and are mainly called 1950's lamps. There were so many different companies and the best known was Reglor Lamps which produced many iconic designs. Many other companies ensued. The date 1947 was a main production year because many companies started after the war in around 1947 when styles changed and millions of companies were started.
