    Hello
    This Saltillo was in a trunk that belonged to my grandfather.
    He dearly loved Mexico and went there often.
    It is appx 65"x 98" not including the fringe which is long.
    Any idea on age and value.
    How to care for and display it.

      Hello Terij. this serape was made between the late 1960s thru the 1970s. Be very careful to keep the moths away from it. Pack it w/ moth balls. they destroy a lot of these. i have quite a few of them. if you get it cleaned, use dry cleaners only.

      Hmm. My grandfather passed in the early 60's and had this for many years prior. So I am confused by your dates.
