Fletcher Music Method piano key puzzle

Took a bit to figure out what I had! Found this table creation, custom shadow box type side table. But the insert is a Early 1900 Fletcher Music Method piano keys set. I believe it served dual purpose of teaching hand position and practice with out a piano, originally had portable case. But the keys have pegs and I think you’d teach student where notes were like a puzzle!
