This came in the donation center today its beautiful can anyone tell me anything about it who made it when ? Any ideas will help us its clean no marks nicks scratches nothing ..but no tags either HELP

My mom had something very similar, basically hers was a boxier version, I think she brought it back from a cruise in the Bahamas, in the 70's.

I agree with Deano about the 1970s timeline.
Wooden purses were very popular then….boxy, heavy, and awkward….but we did love them anyway!
Yours looks like a lighter weight version. I especially like the drawstring cloth top.
Thank you and yes we have a lot of ladies come in and ask if we have basket purses you know they look like picnic baskets lol
