Found this big ole spoon in a kitchen utensils box. This really old spoon is sporting the Fiddle pattern and is in excellent condition with the exception of the tarnished areas and a couple tiny dents in the bowl of the spoon. Having worked as a silversmith I can bring this piece to look brand new again.
My only concern or question is the maker of this spoon. The Hallmarks are a bit faded of the two marking the left one looks like it spells out “HABIG” or “HABIC” but I can be butchering the actual annunciation. Those five words are inside I rectangular stamp. The marking on the right is more hard to make out. It’s pretty worn and there’s no real detail, but it’s inside an oval stamp. It kinda looks like a Chinese Export piece from the early to mid 19th century. The letters could be the makers initials, and the oval stamp could be written in Chinese. What do you think?

The spoon has a monogram, in order it looks like the first letter is a Y or T, followed by the smaller middle & or V, R, Colbeck.
Difficult one, no ??? It doesn’t look like the Danish mark. ….
I think the first letter is an I. The lower case v suggests ‘von’ or ‘van’. That R’ is unusual too.
@vetraio50 , it kind of looks like a Britannia marking? The line at the bottom marking looks like the base where she would stand. Kinda similar but to worn.
The outline shape is not right for Britannia…. This is more oval. The outline though worn has that bump on the left. Note there is only one mark and the HABIG …. With a Britannia mark you’d expect about another three.
I think the origin is more Germanic and later than 1710.
