Newbie here. Just picked this up with a bunch of tools at a garage sale. Its about 22 inches long
Looks like handle is brass. Don't know anything about it. Any advice on identifying it?

Usually when someone posts a knife they know nothing about it turns out to be a souvenir or little worth. But this is an actual military bayonet and this is an older one. Brass handles are usually later 19th century.
