This theatrical trunk was used from 1906 to the late 1920's for road tours by the glamorous Ziegfeld Follies' Lillian Lorraine. Lillian was the principle performer in many of Florenz Ziegfeld's Follies shows until his death in 1932. This trunk was given by Lillian to her close friend and Ziegfeld employee, Elsie Johnson. It contained many gowns, costumes, newspaper clippings and numerous theatrical memorabilia. The trunk is in immaculate shape considering its age and extensive use.
