Pictured here is an unusual patriotic 1/2 gallon milk bottle from WEST FRANKFORT PURE MILK COMPANY...WEST FRANKFORT ILLINOIS. The back has a shield, stars, & a banner stating OUR HONOR ROLL. These names appear to be the names of local soldiers who were serving during the second world war "WW2". Fortunately many of them returned home safely after the war & lived long lives. I think this was such a neat idea for a dairy to remember & honor their military service men.
