The rebuild of an old Louis Vuitton trunk

This very old, beat up Louis Vuitton trunk came to us from Texas and, as you can see, it needed a lot of help! Our friend wanted it recovered in a a royal maroon color, so, that's what we did. New slats, reinforcement panels, new lining and quilt too. Don't ever give up and that old LV you might have. There's much to be done that can make it come alive again!
