I am trying to figure out what this is with no luck. I think it is very old, it is beautifully carved wood and measures 3 7/8 inches wide by 3.75 inches tall and it has rings on each side so it is supposed to hang. Maybe some sort of purse or sewing item? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Amy
I was wondering if it is a stamp holder? the back sections look that way, although I have no idea what the front section is .... Love it anyway!
