Antique Chinese item

Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely item that I found over 10 years ago, I don’t know what these are called and it’s the only one I’ve ever found. I think it’s Chinese and antique, wood with glass case which comes off so you can access the inside which looks like some wooden sculpture , I know nothing about this at all
