A new crankshaft flanged pinion gear, machined and fabricated together by me years ago for a 40HP Case Steam Engine in Kelley Iowa. It is sitting on an 1886 Putnam Planer which is what I used to finish shape the 13 massive teeth. The running of the planer would lower anyone's blood pressure it is so smooth and rhythmical. She second image is the gear installed on the clutch assembly inside of the Case flywheel.
That's some very impressive machining and fabrication you did on this crankshaft gear!!
