I managed to replace the very battered finish which i believe was the reason for the $2 price tag on this very old, nearly 12 inch diameter bowl in a Saskatchewan thrift store. The Ink?drawings (lilac leaves with wild roses) survived the stripper and a tung/teak oil finish bought out the glorious color and grain of this old Western Canadian Cedar.
Removing the old felt revealed nothing useful except a partial unreadable label ,but the Tool marked base is unlike anything I've seen before. any info welcomed.
