I bought this lamp at an estate sale. The previous owner had lots of other Asian decor. I was told this lamp base was made from an antique Chinese vase. Can anyone help in identifying its approximate age or area it’s from? Thank you in advance!!!

shit lost all my text which was very extensive , F,,,,
      slightly verdigris
some age , actually corrosion is decay of coating . not pervasive
sort of bulbous , squared rope design

      nice neutral tonality
flattop application on dragon head, probably not cartwheel drive application

in it self a nice vase , but it is made into a lamp which takes an awfull lot of value out of it

i could be totally off , but i think it is early 20 centuary , you have done well !!

BUT FOR HEAVENS SAKE GET THE LAMP MOUNTING OFF
