Some sort of fire sprinkler contraption found in my office at the fire station where I serve as Fire Marshal. Not sure how old it is and wasn't sure what it was before googling it online. This was the first of its kind I had ever seen.
Believe it's known as s fire grenade, filled with extinguishing chemical to be thrown at fire, yours looks early 19 hundreds early ones were all glass. collectable.
