Hello everyone!!
I was fortunate enough to land this pair of vintage jockey bookends recently. These are in the “21 Club” style. They’re made of spelter and mounted on wood bases. Many of these I see are way overpriced and are faded or damaged. There are also new sets of these made of resin and look nearly identical to these. But these fellas are the originals.
This set is in spectacular condition and were made sometime between the 1950’s and 1960’s. The jockeys measure 9” tall. They’re 12” tall including the bases. Each of the bases measure 4” wide, 4” deep and 3” tall, these are weighted with lead and each jockey weighs 4lb 7oz.
