Suzette painting in shadow box frame dated
Oct. 28, 1947. Hand carved wooden frame, the frame originally had gold detail painted some parts, but has since worn off over the years. The picture is a watercolor painting of Asian woman on staircase. This piece was given to my grandfather from one of his patients for payment of his medical services in Chicago, Illinois.
Gorgeous painting. Your grandfather was a very kind man to accept a gift in lieu of payment, doubt you would find this in the world today, you must be very proud of him
