This is a Journey "Trial By Fire" denim jacket (size L) that was given to Columbia Records executives as a promotional item in 1996. The design from the album cover is embroidered on the top right chest area, with the name Columbia embroidered at the bottom of the back. Made by International Denim for the album release, this was the last Journey album with Steve Perry. The jacket has never been worn and is in excellent condition. The jacket was obtained from a record executive's personal collection of memorabilia, and it looks amazing. It's a great addition to my Journey/Steve Perry collection.
The tour for this album never took place, as Perry was injured while training in Hawaii and refused to undergo surgery immediately, despite the rest of the band's wishes. The other members decided to go on without Perry, and he never sang with them again. Neal Schon has said repeatedly that he would welcome Perry to come sing with them anytime, but Perry has always declined. Now that 2026 is the bands, "Final Frontier" tour, maybe it will happen? Who knows?

What a wonderful piece of Journey memorabilia!! Congrats on such great find!
