Amish-Style Twig Adirondack Rocking Chairs

Vintage hand made bent twig Amish-style Adirondack rocking chairs. Typically crafted from hickory and oak branches and twigs and affixed with nails. These do not appear to have been painted and have weathered into a nice patina. In spite of their age, they remain sturdy and are comfortable to sit and rock in. The chairs were bought "off the dock" shortly after being dropped off at a local resale store in Brevard, North Carolina. From the four that were available, I chose the two in "best" shape - sort of. Light restoration and clean-up will be a winter project.
