Here is a pretty piece of Victorian opaline glass found in an op shop recently.
This vase is made from a single layer of pale green opaline glass with a satin finish. There is enamel decoration of a flowering vine (maybe a Moonflower) & a small dragonfly hovering above. It measures around 20 cm tall, 5 cm across the cut top rim, & 6.5 cm across the base. The purplish tones of the enamel work contrast nicely with the pale green.
Most likely Bohemian origin, late 19th century.
