This isa model airplane gasoline engine from 1935. Its name is the Brown Jr. from the Brown Junior Motor Co., Phila. PA. It is one of the earliest model engines of the time that was built in the USA. It is mounted on the shipping platform and in the original dovetailed wooden box. It is complete with two extra sparkplugs (one is a Brown Jr. plug), a wrench for cylinder. removal, instructional book, capacitor, a battery, and a fuel tank. This engine was never fired up and is in like new condition.
This unique gas engine used a sparkplug, not a glow plug. It had a spark timer (located directly behind the propeller mount). It even had a primer adj.
