This was my (now my son's) 1957 Smith Metal Arts (Buffalo, NY) "Moon Crest" bronze clock, Model M-130, with Pennwood movement.
The first photo shows the clock's (inoperable, to say the least) condition when I purchased it. Following a bit of WD-40 with 800 grit and 4/0 steel wool, and my favorite Simichrome polish, it turned out pretty good considering its age and prior condition. I have always been drawn to its art deco(ish) design of the body, and mid- to early-century font of the numbers. And it is always great to see anything with age brought back to serviceable use and enjoyment. It now sits, and runs, on my son's home office desk.
