Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely big painted pot, it’s very heavy and very well made, I always had a feeling that this was a special item , I couldn’t find out anything at about it, even though it’s got marks, had it over 15 years now, lives in a box but needs to find a new home

i can only BS here( as usual i i have to confess hahaha), lack the skill and i a outplayed
IMO it is an pottersmark or studiomark, and the used a double embossing reverse , so it is probably not that old
i tried to find homophones , ( the sounds and double meaning of words) no solutions
i tried the mandarin malasians approach ( the also use pinyin ), and possible outsorcing to an english type of franchising ( double embossing it is the same application type ( did,not find)
I wonder if it is a SHIWAN imatation in the early republic period , because IMO the application this is not related to the proper Quangxu period Cross hatch and dots application
so to end my BS and probably total nonsense assesment a potters or studie mark around 1920- 19240, cute but a bit rude
Thanks apostata at least you have had a good look , it’s truly a mystery you have said more than anyone has about it ever, you’re quite good at this stuff so that’s why I say it’s a mystery. Hopefully someone else will come by it and know,
