Someone on eBay has identified this decorative plate as an Antique Davenport Green Majolica Vine Leaf Plate. Further research may be needed to be certain.

well this majolica is made at an awfull lot of factories, and the reason is the application is EMBOSSING ( LOOK GOOD) so you got an awfull lot of choises

      . like Montereau , , WEDGEWOOD , Davenport,American etc

what i did is to judge the reverse crackle , the dimpling of the (pseudo stints), used for stints ( kiln support)

and the coloration of the ablation

so we got them in FRance period late belle epogueso called fin de siecle , but the and we got them in England as late Victorian

What happened is because it is al the same EMBOSSING, (mould) i thought which is actually an mistake of mine the marking ( so not the kiln support) is DAVENPORT , which i thought was a baking flow

so des pudels kern ist the black mark above the left kilnspur, so it is a Davenport, actually six of one a dozen or half a dozen of the other

excellente work of MP KUNST, and sloppy of me
