    The tip rotates and when pushed in slightly it starts the timer which can be reset the lever on the side

      it's a rev counter. You put it against a shaft that starts the timer and the end of a minute the numbers on the other side shows you the RPM.

      Curious as it has a 30 minute timer… you need to stand there holding it for half an hour? Also, you can only view one side at a time….
