Antique Victorian Photograph of Queen Victoria

I thought that a nice trip abroad would bring a smile to the "old girl's" face, but no such luck.

Seller's description:
The image itself appears to be possibly an albumen print, softly toned in sepia, showing the Queen in later life. She is depicted in profile, wearing a lace widow’s cap and dark mourning dress with a heavy shawl an instantly recognisable mode of dress she adopted following the death of Prince Albert in 1861.

Her expression is solemn and introspective, which aligns with the widely circulated photographic portraits of her long widowhood.

The publisher’s mark for The London Stereoscopic Company, with addresses at Cheapside and Regent Street, places the production firmly in the latter half of the 19th century.
