I have numerous original soda signs, Orange Crush and Dr Pepper. My late grandfather used these as siding on his chicken coop 70+ years ago. As it happens, he was good enough to put the ink-side-in on the building. I'm having difficulty identifying these two. Both are Dr Pepper, 1937, signs #3 and #4. Both are "Drink a bite to eat" slogans. I understand that the drink a bite to eat slogan was adopted from a public slogan contest in the 30's. One collector in California advised that #4 was very rare, but he couldn't put his finger on #3. Had never seen it.

Looking for insight on any information/values on these two signs.

These are great to see, almost in person! Most have never seen these before because of their age. Robertson-Dualite made most of these early DP signs. These signs are both very rare indeed. This is only the second time I've seen #2 in 25 years of lookin for signs. I'm not sure what 4th sign you're referring to. I only see 3 pics here. I must tell you though that these are in very rough condition and wont bring much money. Great to see'em!

Awesome sign. I don't know a lot about these, only that they are very desirable and I would love to have one like it!

NICE!! Number 1 is extremely rare and the other is very rare. Email the Dr. Pepper museum in Waco http://www.drpeppermuseum.com Sometimes they can narrow it down. I know the first slogan was King of Beverages, then Vim Vigor & Vitality. I think "Drink A Bite, and "Good For Life came out during and shortly after the depression. They dropped the period in 1949 and your signs are dated 37 so somewhere between the teens and 1937. I have two DP signs on here now, I thought I wouldn't see any more I haven't seen before. I haven't seen these. Thanks for posting.
