My one and only Tiffany vase. Measures 6 inches tall. This was passed through the family to me. I love the red color. I took it once to get appraised and the appraiser was baffled by the shape and he didn't quite know what to make of it! He really had no idea- he had never seen one of these. I've done some of my own research on Tiffany vases, but have never found this one. Any ideas about this one collectors? Thanks for looking!
I'll trade you a couple of my glowy minerals for it wolcott ?
Just kidding...Here is one very close but has a flare on top.Might want to stay seated before opening the link! A VERY beautiful vase !!!

Hedgewalker, what can I say? Thanks for looking and posting the link for me!! I've looked for it several times but no results. I can't believe it... I will never touch it again! haha You're a gem Hedge.
So does that mean you'll trade me ?
Lol, I'm grateful for sure, it's just that I don't think the red would go with your collection, right? ;)
You're still a gem though!
I was thinkin bout startin a red collection...this would be a pretty good starter.
Kidding of course.I'm glad I could help! Might wanna think about insuring that beauty.
I could start a Christmas theme collection.Red and green ; )
Haha, red and green indeed;)
Thanks Bellin68!!
A really beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing it with us.
It has certainly raised the dust!
Thanks Vet, I had no idea of it's value. Until I get it appraised by an expert in Tiffany glass guess I still won't know for sure. The man that appraised it was from Connecticut Road show, a copy cat of antiques road show for Public Television in Ct.
He wasn't familiar with the form of the vase and didn't seem very interested in the vase aesthetically. He finally said maybe it was worth one or two grand at best. (which was fine by me!) However, he didn't strike me as confident in his assessment. So the Christie's sale is encouraging to say the least! even though the two vases aren't the same, they are strikingly similar. Thanks for your kind words!
Thanks Scandi, I thought you might like the red color! Hugs :) I like your new photo, did yo go on vaca?
Happy Thanksgiving wolcott !!!! I hope you didn't put the gravy in this !!??
Hedge, Happy Turkey Day!!!! I kept this far away from the kitchen ;) Lol.
Thanks Dean, I very much appreciate your comments.
I just love this site . The friendly exchange of knowledge etc.
As for the appraiser from Connecticut Road show, possibly they wehe hopeing you would sell it and they might get it . We have people who do that in this world.
Lucky we have people like hedgewalker , who are excited to let people know what they have . Alll the best for they NY
Ozmarty, I agree, this is a great site full of wonderful visitors.
