My beautiful beaded bag

This bag was my mother's. I love the beaded scene of birds and flowers on it. It is beaded all the way around.It is closed by a pair of strings. It has no labels or markings of any kind. There is no evidence there ever was any label or marking on it. I cannot tell if the beads are glass or ceramic or what. I think my mother got it in New York many years ago. I would like to know more about it. If you have a similiar one I'd like to see it.
