Anyone know the age of these buttons? What they were used for - I don't think these are shoe buttons. They are Mother of Pearl and 1/2 inch wide. Molded steel (or metal) shanks. The shanks have seams and are not completely uniform. Thanks! Any info appreciated!
Vest Buttons from the mid to late 1800's, worn by men.
