Picked this up in NYC in 2000, my first trip there for the St.Patty's Day parade(the biggest in the world). Brought this back for the Mrs., kind of a kitchy souvenier,never suspecting the events to follow a year later. Went back again in Oct. 2001 to attend funerals for a few of the fallen brothers that were lost on 9/11/01. Watched several ramp ceremonies @the "pile" while there also. A very sad time for America ,all democratic people of the world, and for all firefighters & emergency responders. Still takes me back when-ever I look at this piece.
