RCA dog "Nipper" salt and pepper shakers. It faintly says "RCA HIS MASTER'S VOICE" around the base of each figure. The bottom says "Lenox," the maker. I believe the company is still producing salt and pepper shakers today. The closest to a date I've been able to find is anywhere between 1950 and 1960. His Master's Voice was a painted acquired by a gramophone company of the same name in 1899 for a logo and promotional use. In the painting, the dog is actually looking into a phonograph cylinder, rather than a gramophone. I have seen variations of this set where there is one dog and a gramophone/phonograph instead of two dogs. The image is still used by the related RCA company. Nipper is the name the dog adopted.
