Found this old table in an antique store in Ohio. It had an old leather inlay top glued to a piece of plywood. I tore out the leather, built a false bottom, strip sanded and refinished the wood, then filled the new top with old wood type and printer's cuts.
What a great idea! You've brought new life to an otherwise plain table.
Looks like art to me.
