    Another Toledo based crate dates from the 30's or 40's. Buckeye Beer operated in Toledo from 1838 until 1972. It was one of the longest operating breweries in Ohio history. Buckeye was revivied in 1998 as a microbrewery owned by Maumee Bay Brewery.

      I just found a Squirt Soda wooden case like this from the 40's out in my shop. I used it for storing junk stuff. Found another marked for some kind of prunes from California. Odd what we collect and sometimes forget.
