This is one Heavy peice of redwood. About 1 1/2" thick & 6' long! I seen this at a flea-market in the back of the sellers truck. Asked him how much he wanted for it. he said 125, & I got it for a 100 dollar bill 12 years ago! It's drilled & dowled together.....I Love it!! Haaay (amazinghome) this would match-up great with your nice wall clock that U posted on here awhile back!!!
Thanks for lookin!

    Ditto. GREAT WORK.

I don't have a problem with it, lol...I can't be 100% sure though. I made several pieces; tables, chairs, planters, clocks, etc. I guess I never considered myself an artisan so the thought of signing my work wasn't important at the time. It was a phase I went through that ended when the truckload of lace-burl redwood ran out.

Ok, I've been studying on these pics and I do recognize this as one of mine. I remember thinking at the time that the narrow end sloped a bit and considered chopping it off but it was too interesting to part with and would have ruined the flow of the piece. I'm glad it's found a good home, and you got a great price on it too!

It's funny that you mentioned the matching clock. When my grandfather passed, he left a clock to my brother. My mother also has one & the matching table is still at my grandmother's house. I've also always loved them. Very cool!

My day car lady had one of these. Her son fell and cracked his head on it... very pretty piece
